#FeelGoodFriday Proudly introducing Arcadia Unified’s 23-24 Teacher of the Year Arcadia High Science teacher, YUMIKO GOTO!! Confusion, nervousness, and excitement were the phases of emotions on Ms. Goto’s face as our Board of Education members, superintendent, Arcadia High administrators, and fellow administrators across the district walked into her Physics class this week to share the wonderful news that she is our Arcadia Unified Teacher of the Year. Described by anyone who knows her as an endless source of energy, kindness, empathy, care, inspiration, and many more great things, we are absolutely thrilled to celebrate Yumiko and recognize her truly incredible work as an educator.
She not only makes a positive and profound impact in the lives of students, but she challenges and inspires them to make a positive and profound impact on their world. As we look forward to honoring Yumiko at various events and activities throughout the year ahead, we invite you to help us congratulate her on this very deserving achievement and wish her the best of luck as she moves forward into the Los Angeles County Department of Education’s competitive Teacher of the Year program.
