On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Monrovia High School standout Kate Nelson’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Central Washington Wildcats.

The game took place at Pedretti Park. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12:15 p.m. at Pedretti Park against Academy of Art Urban Knights.
