On Saturday, April 12, former San Dimas High School standouts Matthew DesMarets and Matt Rice’s current college team, the La Verne Leopards, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field. This was their third matchup against the Kingsmen this season.

The Leopards’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. at Ben Hines Field against Occidental Tigers.
