On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Monrovia High School standout Kate Nelson’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Christian Cougars.

The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at OC Great Park against Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.
