On Saturday, Feb. 22, former San Dimas High School standout Alex Ramos’ current college team, the Long Beach State Beach, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Pepperdine Waves.
The game took place at Triton Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Waves this season.
The Beach’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium against Seattle Redhawks.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former North Sab Gabriel Valley area high school athletes.
