The Citrus College Pathways to STEM engineering, math, computer science and physics group recently spent two days in the Silicon Valley. They started with a visit to the Computer History Museum, learning about the 2,000-year history of the computer. Later, they were hosted at Intel, where a wide variety of employees shared their education and work history, followed by a speed-mentoring session. On the second day, students visited the Stanford University campus, and later had lunch with two Citrus College alumni, who work in the area. In the afternoon, the group visited the Cisco Experience Center and then toured an Equinix "cloud."
