At the June 7, 2022, Arcadia City Council Meeting, the City Council will consider adopting a resolution declaring the City Council’s desire to end all acts of hate and racism, and condemning recent atrocities against Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.

“There is no room for hate against any minority group at any time or in any place,” said Mayor Tom Beck. “The City of Arcadia stands with our Asian American and Pacific Islander friends and neighbors to condemn these horrific acts. We also wish to extend our support and sincerest condolences to communities and families that have been hurt by race-related violence,” he added. “As Arcadians and Americans, we stand united in our resolve to end hate and racism in all its forms.”

If you are a victim of a hate crime, please contact the Arcadia Police Department at (626) 574-5123. For more information about the resolution, please contact the City Manager’s Office at (626) 574-5401.
