Campus Resources
• Basic Needs Coordinator:
The college's basic needs coordinator can help students address unmet needs for technology, food, toiletries and emergency shelter through campus resources and referrals to community organizations. For more information, contact Alexis Silva at 626-963-0323, ext. 5228, or asilva@citruscollege.edu
• CalFresh Healthy Living:
CalFresh is a monthly cash assistance program for food. You can buy groceries and fresh produce at participating stores and farmers' markets. If you need assistance applying to CalFresh, email Alexis Silva at asilva@citruscollege.edu
• Food Pantry
All Citrus College students are eligible to access the Campus Center food pantry Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when school is in session.
• GoPass
The GoPass gets you unlimited FREE rides on more buses through June 2023! Now you can ride Foothill Transit local and Silver Streak lines and Metro Los Angeles bus and rail. Get your TAP sticker and the LA Metro registration code in the Campus Center. All you need to bring is your current student ID and be registered in at least one credit unit.
• Grocery Gift Card Grant:

Grocery gift cards support students who struggle with food insecurity. The program provides help to students with food purchases on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Student Health Center:

The Student Health Center provides students with medical advice, mental health support and referrals. Students can call 626-914-8671 to speak with someone or email shc@citruscollege.edu. Students can also email mentalhealth@citruscollege.edu for information about mental health services.

Student Support Grants provide funds to help students with expenses that would otherwise prevent them from successfully completing courses at Citrus College. Students can only receive this grant once an academic year. Students who have already received a grant this academic year should NOT reapply.
• Technology Support Grants:

Grants provide students with technology assistance that will support their successful completion of courses while at Citrus College. Grants are offered via a Best Buy voucher or a Chromebook. Students who have been awarded a Chromebook in the past or received a Best Buy voucher should NOT reapply. Students should only apply to one technology grant and must have an unmet financial need to qualify. All applicants MUST have a completed and current (on file) FAFSA (https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa) or California Dream Act (https://dream.csac.ca.gov/landing) application.
o Chromebook Requests:
Chromebooks support students in need of a laptop to complete their courses while at Citrus College.
o Technology Support Grant:
Technology grants help students make a technology purchase at Best Buy to support their educational needs (receipts will be required).

This app provides quick access to resources, such as shelter, food, drop-in centers and more. Receive alerts on your phone about jobs, get live assistance and view real-time availability for beds at shelters.
• 211 Directory:
This is a free and confidential service that connects individuals with resources, such as food, clothing, shelter, counseling, free legal advice and medical care in their area. Simply dial "211" from any landline or cell phone.
