Esperanza at Duarte Station (1700 Fasana Road) is now open for leasing, adding 344 all-inclusive apartments for rent in the City of Duarte. The new development includes outdoor courtyards, an expansive rooftop terrace, a resort-style pool, and activity lawns that promise to provide a unique living experience for Duarte residents.
The Esperanza is the first building completed as part of the Duarte Station Specific plan, a plan that provides the framework for all developments around the Duarte/City of Hope Metro Gold Line Station. The vision captured in the plan is to create a Duarte Station Area that is a vibrant, mixed-use transit village with many residential uses, office spaces, and urban green space. While the future build-out will include nearly 19 acres of space around the Duarte Station, the new Esperanza building represents a significant addition to the Duarte Station specific plan.
“We are very excited to see the Esperanza building completed. Luxury apartments with rooftop recreational amenities and great views are a giant step forward for our City’s development plans,” said Craig Hensley, Community Development Director. “More living areas close to both the City of Hope and public transportation are great for building and enhancing our Duarte community.”
The Esperanza building will host a co-working space that offers a mailroom and parcel lockers, plus access to a coffee bar. The building will also offer a cantina equipped with an entertainer’s island, communal seating, and a coffee station/beer tap with direct access to Food Truck Alley and a linear park feeding into pedestrian routes toward the adjacent Metro station. Esperanza’s most eye-popping attraction is its expansive rooftop deck, replete with a resort-style pool and separate hot tub, an indoor/outdoor 24-hour fitness center, grilling stations, fire pit, and lounge areas.
Along with the recent completion of the Esperanza Project, MBK Rental Living will soon begin construction on its second Duarte Station project, Solana, and aim to open the building for leasing in the Summer of 2024. The Solana complex at Duarte Station will offer many of the same amenities and 292 additional living units available for residents. The Solana building will also provide space for a large “Duarte Station” sign that will provide an iconic element to promote the community.
