Spring has sprung into action and the City of Duarte Parks and Recreation Department has some “egg-citing” upcoming events that are fun for the whole family! Join the Department for its annual Underwater Egg Hunt and Duarte EGGFEST 2023 events.

Youth ages 4-13 are in for a splash of fun with our Underwater Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 2. The event will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Duarte Fitness Center pool (1600 Huntington Drive). Be the first to dive into action and find the lucky golden eggs! Participating families will enjoy an afternoon of crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny, and open recreation swim. Ages 7 years and under must be accompanied by a participating adult.

We want to also invite you to Duarte EGGFEST 2023 on Saturday, April 8 for more springtime fun! Hop on over to Encanto Park (751 Encanto Parkway) from 10 AM to 12 PM to for an “egg-celent” morning. This free, annual event will include an egg hunt, with thousands of eggs filled with candy or treats for children ages 3 - 10. The egg hunt will begin at 10:15 AM sharp!
