On Sunday, March 2, former Monrovia High School standout Matthew Delgado’s current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UAB Blazers.

The game took place at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
